Importers and producers

Importers and producers must be registered with Dansk Retursystem A/S if they wish to sell drink products that are included in the deposit and return system. The products must also be registered.

Importers and producers are also responsible for marking their one-way packaging with the appropriate deposit label.

Importers and producers must pay the deposit and fee applicable to each type of packaging that they sell on the Danish market.

Every importer and producer must declare their sales volumes to allow Dansk Retursystem A/S to invoice the correct fees.
