Deposit flow

Repayments of deposits paid on one-way packaging are handled exclusively by Dansk Retursystem A/S. Deposits on refillable bottles are refunded separately to the sales locations by their suppliers of beers and soft drinks.

Importers and producers report their sales volumes to Dansk Retursystem A/S which invoices them for amounts corresponding to the figures received. Deposits are refunded to the sales locations once the empty packaging has been tallied up at one of our counting stations.
