Dansk Retursystem A/S defines a sales location as a business run from a permanent place of business.

Registration of the sales location

Registration of sales locations with Dansk Retursystem A/S is voluntary and free of charge. Registered sales locations benefit from free collection of one-way packaging. Dansk Retursystem A/S collects both deposit refundable and non-refundable drinks packaging – but not wine and spirits bottles.

Grocery stores that sell refillable bottles and one-way packaging can choose to take advantage of the so-called handling fee payable for handling the empty bottles and cans.

Collection of packaging

Dansk Retursystem A/S collects the empty one-way packaging in sacks and in pallet containers. A refundable deposit is charged for the sacks and pallets. Sales locations must order the collection sacks and pallets from Dansk Retursystem A/S.

Refunds are credited to the sales locations once the collected packaging has been tallied up at a Dansk Retursystem A/S counting station.
